SSC CGL Tier 2 2022 exam was conducted according to the old exam pattern which consisted of four Tiers. Then, Tier 2 consisted of 4 papers. Paper 1 (Quantitative Abilities) and Paper 2 (English Language and Comprehension) were compulsory for all. On the other hand, Paper 3 (Statistics) was for JSO and Statistical Investigator Grade II posts, and Paper 4 (General Studies) for AAO post. SSC CGL exam pattern has changed in 2023. Now, the exam has 2 Tiers, and Tier 2 consists of 3 papers in total. Paper 1 has three sections and is compulsory for all. Paper 2 (Statistics) is for JSO and Statistical Investigator Grade II posts. While Paper 3 (General Studies) is for the candidates applying for the posts of AAO. The three sections in Paper 1 has objective-type questions from Mathematical Abilities, Reasoning and General Intelligence, English Language and Comprehension, General Awareness, Computer Knowledge, along with the skill test. Paper 1 has 150 questions along with skill test while Paper 2 and 3 have 200 questions each.
