SSC JE 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates should check the syllabus and SSC JE exam pattern before starting their preparation, here we have discussed the exam pattern for SSC JE Exam 2023. This exam consists of 2 papers; Paper 1 and Paper 2 and each paper contains 3 sections/parts, as per General Engineering is concerned aspirants will attempt only the part as the option chosen by the candidates during the form filling up.
- The candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer (Civil/Quantity Surveying Contract) will attempt the Part A(Civil & Structural) of both Paper 1 and 2.
- The candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer(Electrical) will attempt Part B(Electrical) of both Paper 1 and Paper
- The candidates appearing for the post of Junior Engineer(Mechanical) will attempt Part C (Mechanical) of Paper 1 and Paper 2.

General Intelligence and Reasoning - This section contains questions related to mental ability, general logic and simple numerical to check the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships. Questions based on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc. are asked in this section.
General Awareness – This section tests the candidate’s knowledge about the current affairs, society, country and the world.
