Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment 2023- Physical Test

Every Year Indian Navy recruits thousands of candidates for the post of Artificer Apprentice (AA) and Senior Secondary Recruits (SSR) through an Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment Process which consist of multiple stages like Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), and the Medical Examination Test for the final selection step. Soon there will be the official notification for Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment 2023.

The recruitment will also contain the Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment 2023 Physical Test. This Physical Test is followed by Written Test. Candidates need to qualify the eligibility criteria in terms of Physical Measurement to qualify for the Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment Physical Test.

Candidates who will qualify for the written test and the Physical Test will be sent a call letter for the final medical exam to become eligible for the SSR Entry. The second stage of the Physical Test involves visual and medical standards, strong fitness tests which all are conducted and examined by authorized military officials and qualified doctors on the same day of the written test.

Indian Navy SSR AA Physical Standards 2023

• The Indian Navy SSR AA physical fitness test mentions certain physical standards in terms of weight, height, and chest for only unmarried male candidates.
• First Candidates need to complete the intensive round which includes a compulsory running of 1.6kms, which the candidate has to complete within 7 minutes.
• Within a stipulated time candidate need to perform a series of 10 pushups and 20 squats in front of an examining officer.
• All the candidates participating in the Physical Fitness Test are performing at their own physical risks.

Indian Navy SSR AA Medical Standards 2023

All the Medical Standards are prescribed under certain rules and regulations decided by the Indian Navy authorities and candidates need to make a note of the medical conditions that are mentioned in it. Candidates who will qualify for the written and the Physical Test will be provided with a final call letter for Medical Examination at INS Chilka.

• Indian Navy will ensure that only authorized military doctors will conduct the medical examination of the candidates as per the medical standard prescribed in the rules and regulations for the entry of a sailor.
• As per the rules and regulations in the Navy Order ( Special) 01/2008, candidates must be in proper mental and physical health, must not be anybody defect that will hinder their work in any condition.
• Candidates who will qualify for all the medical standards will be considered under Medically fit the category and will be enrolled under the Indian Navy SSR AA recruitment post-completion level of the Enrolment Medical Examination.
• Candidates who will not qualify the medical standards will be considered under the Medically unfit category and will be advised to verify the reason for their disqualification if they wish to do so at the INHS Kalyani, Visakhapatnam, and INHS Nivarini, Chilka within a maximum stipulated time period of 21 days.
• Candidates must also ensure some of the basic cleanliness measures before the enrolment medical examination like removal of tartar from teeth and removal of wax from the ear.
• Before appearing for the examination, candidates can crosscheck the dimensions of Height, Chest and Weight with their status of body measurement.

Indian Navy SSR AA Visual Standards 2023

The Indian Navy has decided on some eye standards, only for a distant vision for selection under the Indian Navy SSR AA physical Test. The candidates can have a look at the standards of distant vision:

Besides these medical and physical standards, there are other standards like:

• Any permanent tattoos are considered to be an ineligible criterion for the selection in Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment 2023.
• Body tattoos are only allowed in the inner face of forearms and the reserved side of the hand’s palm side.

Indian Navy SSR AA Initial Engagement and Training

Candidates, who will qualify for both the written test as well as Physical Fitness Test, will be considered for the Training and Initial engagement and will be called for the training session.

• The Indian Navy SSR AA Recruitment Training starts from August Month of the year.
• The SSR Post of the Indian Navy will require training of 22 weeks and the post of AA of the Indian Navy will be of 09 weeks.
• All the initial basic training of the Indian Navy SSR AA will be at the INS Chilka and will be followed by training from professionals in different Naval Training Establishments.
