RPSC RAS Selection Process 2023

The RPSC RAS Selection Process has a total of four major phases. And the candidates have to appear for the interview session after being selected in all the exams. The four major phases of the exam are- Prelims, Mains, Interview, and Final Selection (Document Verification). Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) conducts Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) exam at the state level every year. The conducting body will release the notification for the 2023 session on their website. The candidates are hereby advised to keep checking the website to get the notification.The RPSC RAS exam process is purely based on the score secured by the candidates in the Prelims and Mains exam. However, the interview session is also very important to get a job in Rajasthan civil service. The important phases of the state civil service exam are briefly mentioned below which will help the candidates to know the systems and processes of the exam and also how to clear the exam.

Stage 1: RPSC RAS Prelims Exam 2023

The RPSC RAS Prelims exam was held on October 27, 2021, and the result of the same came out on November 19, 2021. The candidates will get 3 hours in the RPSC RAS exam and there will be a total of 200 marks on the paper.

Candidates can choose either English or Hindi in the exam. The RPSC RAS question paper pattern is MCQ type (Multiple Choice Question). And the mode of the exam will be Offline mode.

Stage 2: RPSC RAS Mains Exam 2023

After clearing the Prelims exam, candidates now are eligible to sit for the Mains exam, the level of which will be moderate to difficult. The Mains exam will be conducted through offline mode and the candidates have to manage their time carefully to write in the exam as the paper will be descriptive type. There will be 4 papers in the Mains exam and each paper will be 200 marks. Hence the total marks of the exam will be 800 marks.

Stage 3: RPSC RAS Interview 2023

Once one clears the both Prelims and Mains exams, the qualified candidates will be called for the Interview session. The interview is very important for the candidates to qualify for the exam. Also, candidates can check RPSC latest news here.

In the interview session, the interviewers may test your personality, communication, analytical, critical thinking skills, and knowledge on political, economic, social, the culture of Rajasthan. The interview session mark will be 100. Those candidates who can qualify in the interview session will be selected for the final document verification.

Documents Required for RPSC RAS DV 2023

The selected candidates have to take their documents for the final verification of the documents. Only after that, you will be selected for the job of RPSC RAS exam. The relevant documents which are essential to bring to the exam hall are as follow:

• Date of birth proof certificate
• Marksheet and certificate of 10th class
• Marksheet and certificate of HSLC exam
• Marksheet and certificate of the Graduation exam
• Reserved category candidates caste certificates
• PWD candidates certificate
• Photo identity proof
• RPSC RAS interview call letter
• Income certificate for the EWS category candidates
• Ex-serviceman may have to bring a copy of service and other required documents with them
• Experience certificate for the one who is working (optional)
• Print out copy the form of the application
