CDS exam consists of three papers- English, General Knowledge and Elementary Maths, except for OTA vacancies which have only the first two papers. Each question carries 1 mark. There is also a negative marking of 0.33 marks for each wrong answer. However, there is no penalty for leaving any question unattempted. The duration for every paper is 2 hours.
