CDS Cutoff 2023

Since the exam is over the applicants are now looking for the expected cut-off marks of Combined Defence Services so that they can join the respective Academies. The final CDS 2023 cutoff for IMA is expected to be between 119-131, for AFA 146-151, and for INA 104-121. CDS Cutoff has seen an exponential rise over the past few years. This non-ending surge could be attributed due to the growing popularity of the Indian Armed Forces among Indian youths and the stable career the forces provide.

The minimum qualifying marks in each subject are 20 marks, i.e. 20%. Candidates are required to obtain separately qualifying marks in the written exam and SSB Interview of the CDS Exam. Factors affecting CDS Cutoff Marks

CDS admit candidates based on CDS written test results followed by 5-day Psychological and Physical tests in three SSBs across India. The cutoff depends upon various factors including the number of students appearing for the exam, vacancies, difficulty level of the exam, etc. These factors all combined finally contribute to the Cutoff and students scoring above the decided cutoff are deemed successful. Students need to score better than the cutoff at every stage.

The commission does not release cutoff details for 5-day SSB. However, final marks are released once the whole process including Written Test, SSB Interview, and medical examination is conducted. Here are all the factors that are considered while deciding the CDS Cutoff of a year. CDS cutoff marks vary depending on various factors which are mentioned in the following bullet points:

CDS Cut off 2023 for Written Exam

• Candidates need to score the minimum aggregate cut-off marks to qualify for the written exam.
• Candidates are also required to secure the minimum qualifying marks in each subject that is 20%.
• Candidates who are declared successful in the written exam are called for SSB Round.

CDS Cut off for SSB Interview

• SSB Interview is conducted only for the written exam qualified candidates.
• SSB Interview is a two-stage selection process.

• Stage 1: It comprises of Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) tests and Picture Perception Description Test (PP&DT).
• Stage 2: It comprises Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests, and the Conference.
• To qualify for SSB Interview, candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks.

CDS Cut off 2023 for Final Selection

• The Final cut-off is decided based on the written exam and SSB Interview marks.
• CDS final cut off is decided based on the marks secured by the last recommended candidates. After that candidates are selected for admission to the different courses.
