General Aptitude will also have 120 questions that must be completed within 2 hours

Syllabus for APPSC Prelims Group I

The APPSC Group I Prelims exam will have two objective-type papers. The detailed syllabus for the same is presented below:

Paper 1 – General Studies

  • Indian History and Culture
  • Indian Constitution, Social Justice, Polity, and International Relations
  • Indian and Economy and Planning of the state
  • Geography

Paper 2 – General Aptitude

  • General Mental and Psychological Abilities

The General Studies paper is further divided into four parts.

The History and Culture part will have:

APPSC Group I Syllabus Mains 2023

The Mains exam includes two qualifying papers and five merit ranking papers.

Syllabus of Qualifying Papers

English (SSC Standard) Essay writing, how to write Press Release, presenting Visual Information, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, etc.
Telugu (SSC Standard) Essay, Elaborating it with Verse/Poetic, Comprehension, Speech in a formal way, Statement Preparation, Letter Writing, Application Writing, etc.

Paper 1 – General Essay (Degree Standard) Three Essays of about 800 words each
