Rajasthan Police SI Selection Process 2023

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) will conduct the Rajasthan Police SI Exam 2023 in September 2023 (tentative) for filling several vacancies. Candidates giving the Rajasthan Police SI exam this month must know the detailed selection process before giving the exam. The SI selection process is divided into several stages including written test, physical efficiency test & physical measurement test, and Interview.

Rajasthan Police SI Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

This is the second Rajasthan Police SI selection stage. Candidates must meet the minimum physical measurement requirements in order to qualify for the next stage.

• The candidates belonging to Hill & tribal Area must be at least 160 cm tall and their chest dimensions must be 79-84 cm.
• The weight of female candidates applying must be 47.5 kg.

Rajasthan Police SI Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

The overall weightage of the physical efficiency test is 100 marks and the candidates who obtain 50% marks therein, will be eligible for the selection. Different PETs that are a part of the selection procedure for both males and females are discussed in the table below.

Rajasthan Police SI Interview Process

Candidates post-qualifying all the selection stages mentioned above will be invited for an interview round. The maximum weightage of the interview round is 50 marks. RPSC will issue a call letter to the shortlisted candidates, inviting them for the interview round. Candidates can download their call letters from the official portal.

• The exam conducting authority will give marks to each candidate based on their personality, behavior, specialized training, aptitude for the post, leadership qualities, etc.
• Moreover, the board will also test candidates’ knowledge of the Rajasthani culture.
• The marks given in the interview round will be added to the marks obtained in the written test by the candidates. The Rajasthan Police Result will be prepared considering all the scores of all the tests together.
• Candidates having a Degree or Diploma in criminology or N.C.C. “C” Certificate or who have offered Police Administration as one of the papers for the degree exam will get extra weightage.
