- IAS Prelims is the first stage of the IAS Selection Process. Only candidates who qualify at this stage are allowed to sit for the Main exam.
- IAS Exam Results (Mains) is the stage after Prelims. Based on the marks obtained by a candidate in IAS Main, he will further be called for Personality Test or Interview round.
- IAS Final Result is declared based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Mains Exam and IAS Interview. Candidates who secure the highest marks out of the aggregate marks will come out as toppers.
