HSSC Group D Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2023

HSSC Group D exam pattern and syllabus are not mentioned in the official notification, but the previous year question papers of HSSC Group D exam tell us about them. Haryana Staff Selection Commision fills vacancies in Group D through exams testing aspiring candidates’ qualitative and quantitative aptitudes. The test comprises 90 questions, each carrying one mark. The paper is divided into two sections carrying unequal weightage. Section I comprises General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English and Hindi. Section II, on the other hand, comprises Current Affairs, History, Geography, Civics, Literature, Economics and Culture of Haryana.

Exam Pattern

HSSC Group D Exam Pattern 2023

HSSC Group D exam is a qualifying exam conducted by Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Given below are a few quick facts about the exam.

  • Section I has a weightage of 75%, while Section II has a weightage of 25%.
  • Experience and certain socio-economic parameters of the candidate will also be considered. They will carry a weightage of 10 marks.
  • The questions will be of objective type, and students will be required to mark their respective answers in the OMR sheet provided to them.

(NOTE: As of now, no information about negative marking in the examination has been provided by the authorities. Candidates are advised to read the instructions in the question paper at the time of the exam.)
